  8.      CATT is a =f=a=s=t  TSR 'menu/bat' program which will run BAT files in
  9.  
  10. it's  own  list,  saving a lot of hard drive space. It  has  a  transparent
  11.  
  12. command  interface and passes commands to Dos command line if it is not  in
  13.

  16. commands.  Pressing [Enter] lists all the commands you have  entered.  They
  17.  
  18. may be activated by typing the name, or clicking on the name with a mouse.
  19.  
  20.      Included are MAGIK, a dialer which keeps a compact database. ZEDITT  a
  21.  
  22. very simple ASCII text viewer/editor. And ZCOLOR which set colors for CATT,
  23.  
  24. MAGIK and the COMport for the Magik dialer.
  25.  
  26.      The  DEMO version of CATT does not make use of the F-Keys  (except  F1
  27.  
  28. for HELP screen).  The demo Zcolor has fewer choices, and will not let  you
  29.  
  30. set  an IRQ for an internal modem. Magik has 3 menus. In the demo only  the
  31.  
  32. main menu has functions. You can redial, add, delete, modify, list entries.
  33.  
  34. The other two menus are there for display but have no active functions. The
  35.  
  36. Dial  New  menu  lets you dial new numbers and enter  data  for  the  small
  37.  
  38. database  while you are on the phone. The INFORMATION menu lets you  select
  39.  
  40. up  to  3  fields  to retrieve info from the database  to  your  screen  or
  41.  
  42. printer.  Those  functions on the DIAL and INFO menu are available  in  the
  43.  
  44. registered version.
  45.  
  46.      I  have tested this on several models of computer from 286  to  498DX,
  47.  
  48. and 3 486slc notebook computers. I have used DrDos-5 and DrDos-6, EMM386,
  49.  
  50. SSTOR  (compression  like Stacker), Disk cache, 2  scanner  drivers,  mouse
  51.  
  52. driver  and 2-3 modems (com 1,3,4). It has not caused any problems or  loss
  53.  
  54. of  data. However, the standard disclaimer: CASTLEsoft is  not  responsible
  55. èfor  any loss or problems caused by the use of it's products. The  software
  56.  
  57. has  been tested under many conditions and has performed all  functions  as
  58.  
  59. outlined  in  those  tests. CASTLEsoft cannot guaranty  the  software  will
  60.  
  61. perform as outlined in all cases and configurations.
